|APRIL 2023| REICH COMPLETES MASTERPIECE BY THE BAY – SEA STAR HOTEL HA LONG
At the end of April 2024, Reich officially completed the Sea Star Hotel project, a classy architectural work located in the center of Bai Chay tourist area, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh.
Sea Star Ha Long is designed according to modern international 5-star hotel standards. The project started construction in early 2018, through the tireless efforts of the construction team. To date, Reich has completed the supply and installation of aluminum and glass doors and glass walls covering the entire hotel, bringing a luxurious and classy look to the project.
Located on the shore of the heritage, with the architectural style of a ship sailing towards the sea, Sea Star is like a luxurious “yacht”, in harmony with the majestic natural landscape around. The hotel has a scale of 29 floors above ground and 2 basements, the height of the building is up to 132m with a total of more than 360 resort rooms, providing unique and impressive resort spaces to please visitors.
The inspiration of Ha Long creates unity for every angle of the building. The hotel tower evokes the gentle and graceful beauty of the ocean waves.
The aluminum facade system of the tower uses a unitized system with large-sized panel frames. The unitized system is one of the difficult facade systems, requiring high techniques and skills. Reich is proud to be one of the few qualified units selected as the contractor for this project. These panel frames are combined with a decorative aluminum louver system, equipped with LED lights, creating a sparkling lighting effect at night, highlighting the beauty of the tower.
The floor-interrupting stick system, balcony sliding door system, and glass railings intertwine to create a durable and safe structure, carefully calculated to suit the coastal location of the project. The aluminum surface is powder coated to prevent corrosion, ensuring superior durability in the marine environment and is warranted for up to 20 years.
The tower’s glass system is given special attention with the use of energy-saving solar laminated glass. In particular, 42.66mm double-glazed glass is used for the 25th floor glass wall, meeting the highest sound and heat insulation standards, creating a quiet and comfortable space. The accompanying accessories are all high-end products from Roto of Germany, ensuring durability and excellent quality.
The base of the Sea Star Hotel Ha Long project stands out with subtle contrasts, creating unique and impressive highlights.
At the base, the stick aluminum glass system uses solar laminated glass combined with frameless glass walls with large white glass to create a large open space and a beautiful view of the outside space, creating an airy feeling.
The lobby roof system is specially designed with hot-dip galvanized steel structure and three-layer Epoxy paint (one primer and two finishing paint layers), ensuring C5 standard resistance to sea salt corrosion. The steel border is covered with solid aluminum and stands out with imported corrugated stainless steel panels below, creating a unique highlight and attracting all eyes.
The decorative curved panels are made from hot-dip galvanized steel structure, combined with curved solid aluminum panels, creating a vivid image like ocean waves, evoking the beauty and softness of the ocean..
The decorative aluminum louver system uses aluminum louvers with dimensions of 70x200mm and 100x300mm, electrostatically painted with wood grain color, creating harmony and warmth for the entire architecture. The combination of these elements not only creates a modern and luxurious beauty but also brings sustainability and longevity to the base of Sea Star Hotel Ha Long.
